    Aaaaaughibbrgubugbugrguburgle! RwlRwlRwlRwl!
That's murloc for "Welcome to Murloc Mondays" - where people can ask any type of question about WoW without getting strangled by a Death Knight.
Questions can range from what's new in Battle for Azeroth, what class is OP, and how many Demons will it take to down Thrall?
Questions can come from brand new players, players returning, or veteran players who never got a chance to ask the right question. Afraid of not getting an answer? Rest assured, we know that at least 90% of questions get answered!

You may want to look at /r/wownoob (Retail), or /r/AzerothNoob (Classic) as well!

Wrathion is directly responsible for Varian's death.

    Posted: 14 Jan 2020 09:20 PM PST

I keep seeing people claiming that Anduin blaming Wrathion for his father's death is over reaching or far-fetched. It isn't. I don't understand why those people act like Wrathion did a "minor mischief for the lulz which then had unforeseen consequences way down the line", however, the events of both Legion and WoD are direct results of Wrathion's plans and failures.

First of all, it is nonsensical to so terribly downplay his involvement with Garrosh and WoD. He didn't simply release Garrosh with no understanding or intent on where it would go. He made the plan. That was his plan! And the plan was to create an AU Draenor (the first of many he actually planned to make) using Bronze Dragonflight artifacts, rally another Horde there with the help of Garrosh and then use that Horde to conquer Azeroth, so that, in his mind, he can "better defend Azeroth against Legion". This plan was wack from the start, but he was too god damned arrogant, so he thought he could handle all the million pitfalls, and then he shat the bed:

    • He knew this new AU Draenor would come with a new shadow council, a new Gul'dan and a new Burning Legion attempt to corrupt and use orcs against Azeroth. He knew that. He thought, he could handle Gul'dan and the entire Shadow Council and the Legion.

    • Instead he lost the control of Garrosh (Or rather, got played by him from the start), lost the Iron Horde and the Legion went and invaded Azeroth.

    • The Third Invasion was a "calculated risk" he took, in a horrific act of hubris, believing he can somehow outplay the most devious schemers of the universe, and then got dunked on immediately.

    • That Legion army, that Gul'dan, is literally his creation. And he did it knowing full well what he was doing. It was all "part of the plan", but he lost the plot as soon as they reached AU Draenor.

The entire Legion expansion happened directly as a result of his bullshit. It is not some "far-reaching consequence he couldn't have imagined". It was a pretty blatant and obvious possibility, he just thought he could beat it. And the funniest part? He was planning on doing this more than once! He thought he could keep creating new AU Draenors, new Hordes and keep beating that Shadow Council-Gul'dan-Legion trio in a scenarios they had already played and won once before! The sheer arrogance and complete disregard for what even a single instance of failure would mean makes him a shitcake.

He knew, what was the very real worst case scenarios of his failures was, and he did it anyway. I am not even going into the fact that he was deliberately trying to give a proven genocidal psycho another chance to invade Azeroth, like that wouldn't kill Varian, Anduin and everyone else on the planet!

And I keep seeing some bullshit about Vereesa not murdering Garrosh being the problem and it is hilarious, because that is exactly the nonsensical over-reach these people are trying to paint Wrathion's fuck up as. Vereesa and Anduin decided not to kill an already imprisoned man that they thought, and rightfully so, would be imprisoned for life or executed anyway. There was no way in bloody hell that they could have foreseen an "alternate-universe inter-planetary invasion plan that could bring Legion back to Azeroth", because how fuck would that even happen? But Wrathion knew that was exactly what was going to happen and did it willingly.

To illustrate my point more clearly: Imagine you can summon a powerful army which you think you can use for your own gain, that you will put under the command of a psycho warmonger. You know that summoning that army will bring demons and demon servants with it, who also has a chance to take over that army. You do summon the army anyway. The demons come, so do the servants. The warmongering psycho dupes you and takes the army for himself and the demons servant you summoned goes and kills your friend's dad. It would absolutely, 100%, be your bloody fault that he died. There is no weaseling out of this.

If anything, Wrathion should be locked down for life. It is absurd that people allow him roam around, let alone "give advise" and "make decisions".

Attention Vulpera: You can put the top down on the Hyena.

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 12:13 AM PST

I've seen MANY Vulpera today and no one had the top down. I haven't seen this anywhere but if you use your make camp ability there's a backpack on the ground. If you interact with it you can stow the caravan part of the caravan Hyena mount and just have your Hyena running around with some saddle bags. Cool little flavor thing I haven't seen anyone taking advantage of.

Edit: Added top up and top down so you get an idea of what changes
