| Realms on retail don't really make much sense anymore. Posted: 08 Jan 2020 04:10 PM PST So I was thinking about it, and I don't see the point of having realms on retail. Why not have every zone be a shard? That way when you're leveling through lower level zones you increase your chance of seeing people because you see anyone else in that zone. They have communities which are cross realm, why not just call those guilds, and allow everyone to raid mythic whenever? Having a regional marketplace would allow prices to not be crazy different based on your server. The faction imbalance on certain realms would be gone. I'm probably overlooking something, I'm just curious on everyone else's thoughts. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 08 Jan 2020 08:19 AM PST Something you can work at either solo or in teams, customise, enhance, etc. It's obviously a great feature to have, because it creates incentives to log on and play, gives you tangible long term goals, and allows you to both customise your character and connect with it more. Nothing in BfA so far achieves this for me. Allied Races unlocks scratched that itch a tiny bit, but those stories ended so quickly. Heart of Azeroth and Essences don't come close. Posted: 08 Jan 2020 03:05 PM PST Background: I left the game on MoP and came back a month ago approx, was really excited at the beggining leveling my DH and grinding rep with my shammy to unlock zandalari and kultirans, I didnt have gear, essences or many traits at that point and I was happy (blessed be the ignorant). Fast forward 1 month and even the tought of wow makes me miserable, trying to gear up my 11 alts, collect essences, t-mog, cant even do bgs as as much skill I might have I still get rampaged by dudes with 440 gear. I leave early for work and come come at about 7 pm, which only leaves me about 2 hours at much of good game time daily, LFR is out of the window thanks to absurd queues, I can maybe do 2 mythics each day, mostly without any gear drop, and the fact that this has to be done for 11 characters just downs me bad, I have never felt more sure that WoW really makes people who love their alts miserable. I enjoyed very much my first 2-3 weeks of returning, now this "game" feels like another job. I dont think Ill quit yet, just want to see if anyone has been through this and share their stories. | Was using my anti-gravity pack on my DH today and had an idea.. Posted: 08 Jan 2020 01:44 PM PST So I was fighting a mob on mechagon Island and went into metamorphosis form before finishing the fight and quickly taking off with my anti-grav pack. I then came to realise if you fly while in that form, you start flapping your wings.. Monks get the cloud to ride on and the druid gets flight form.. It would be badass if demon hunters could have a unique flight ability where they activate metamorphosis and flap their wings to fly around. Blizzard plz [link] [comments] | ||
