It's sort of weird how you basically never have to return to your starting zone, especially as one of the heavily themed Allied Races to which they feel like actual places of power. I wish my Void Elf had a reason to back to Telogrus Rift regularly, and soak in all that voidy vibe.
Please Blizzard.. It's been 2 years now.
So hyped right now! Coming back to the game after a year away! And My son who is 9 is super interested in playing with me!! Ready to start his incredible journey.
UPDATE: Verified by Blizz dev, Horde mains exalted with Mechagon CAN in fact access Mechagnomes through Ally alts

Wraithchill effects the Black Ice ring
I can see an easier way out of this, Keeri mate.
Warglaives of Azzinoth transmog confirmed DH only in 8.3 Patch Notes
Anyone knows what this is? I sometimes see it shoot out of low level characters, a few red balls, swirling about and then striking the target with a whoosh.

For me Legion legendary items were realized when I didn't feel restrained and could actually use them to customize my play style as I pleased. AKA when I had the ones I wanted.

Playing the Elemental Shaman gambler build was the most fun I had with that system all expansion, but I only got to enjoy it at the end, because that's when I got the legos I needed for it. Isn't that a shame?

But seriously, isn't that shame? You had this fun, interesting system locked behind RNG and time gates. Imagine a world of warcraft where you could have just got the ones you wanted & had fun with them. Imagine.

And now looking at Essences...

...It's the same nonsense. You have something that could be fun, locked behind something. And if you don't do the something, screw you.

It's so backwards to me that they're so afraid to just let people have fun with essences. Do they think we'll all unsub if we don't have to regrind Purification Protocol on every character we want to play?

Because right now I'm unsubbed because I can't "just have fun". I can't just log in & do M+ & PvP, no... I have to do nonsense content X, Y & Z first... everyday until the gods are pleased with my sacrifice.

Just relent Blizzard, please. I really do want to play this game again.

Why not treat starting zones a bit like Order Halls for Races? I'm not saying take away the purpose of capital cities, because it's important to intermingle with other players too. But some cool features could be placed inside the starting zones. Like when you had to return to hand in a story quest, check your mission table or adjust your artifact weapon.

Wraithchill effects the Black Ice ring

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, theres a toy called "Black Ice" that gives you a ring effect on your finger. As of late I've made a bank alt to manage a lot of inventory from alts and I was messing around with enchant appearances when I figured out the ring has the wraithchill effect if you have it on your weapon.

For example;

Wraithchill on

Power Torrent (I've tested a few and all of them look like this)

Not sure if intentional or not (probably not) but I thought it was pretty cool and thought I'd share. :)

Many legendary weapons are now transmogrifiable.

Developers' note: The Warglaives of Azzinoth dropped from Illidan in Black Temple are the one exception, as a custom method for Demon Hunters in particular to obtain this transmog appearance already exists through Black Temple Timewalking, and we do not want to diminish the value of that unique reward.

Guess that discussion can finally be put to rest...

Typical Blizzard transmog rules, let's single out one Legendary people have had for years to be locked to a class that didn't exist when it was introduced. I get that it fits DH very well, but come on.
