Minor Complaint, but 8.3 is going to ruin my Death Knight Tmogs.
Was leveling an alt and discovered this gem flying around periodically.
First time drawing an orc and I'm HYPED for this one! What do you guys think? It's still a WIP
When people say Mechagnomes shouldn't be an Allied Race
I think that they looked better with the 3d assets left on
I created an in depth Mythic+ guide for Holy Paladins (updated for 8.3). It seems to be helping people so thought i'd try sharing it here!
My biggest concern for Shadowlands is still class design

Can the Old Gods have a little corruption?
You can get the Eternal Traveler transmog set even if you only bought base version Shadowlands if you borrow someone else's mount.
Finally the Dev's listen to the community and make the changes that matters!
Leveling 1-120 Killing Only Boars.

Playing a few other MMOs in the pre-8.3 lull recently, it's so obvious how far class design has fallen in WOW.

One example is SWTOR. This is a game that is, frankly, not a good MMO (although it's a great single-player or co-op game) and in many ways ripped off WOW for its classes. But because it never pruned abilities, the classes feel so much better. It's reminded me how much I miss the old moment-to-moment gameplay in WOW.

The way I think about it is that we used to have more priority lists than rotations. On Jedi guardian, for example, I have a bunch of short- to mid-term cooldowns (10 to 25 seconds) that I have to juggle and prioritize depending on the situation and what does the most damage — so I'm always thinking about what I'll do next. Compare that to assassination rogue, where I basically do the same rotation for 90 percent of the fight and press Toxic Blade every 25 seconds or so, Vanish plus Vendetta every two minutes, and maybe an azerite ability every 1.5 to 3 minutes depending on what I'm taking — so I feel like I'm on autopilot with no choices for 90 percent of the fight.

I know Shadowlands will bring back some class identity and flavor abilities, like poisons for rogue. That's great, but I worry that's all they'll do. What I really miss from old class design is better moment-to-moment gameplay — not just feeling like the class I play.

(So on the Destiny sub-reddit we have a running thread of all the changes, reasonable in nature, that we'd love to see Bungie implement called "Bungie Plz:" and it feels like the WoW subreddit could really use it too. Stuff like Blizzard Plz: Account wide essences etc)

I'd also hope for something like 10 glyphs per class with real oomph per glyph too!

Chief Designer: "Due to gameplay reasons we need plenty of small separated zones. We will do this by surrounding each zone by mountains."

Designer 1: "But sir, won't the map look ridiculous with such density of mountains? What if we used other natural obstacles as well?"

Chief Designer: "Mountains."

Designer 2: "Boss, there are plenty of various natural obstacles we can use, like rivers, ravines, lava fields, areas filled with toxic gas, swamps...."

Anybody else get this type of message? I just got it for my guild and all of the communities I was in. I was killing mobs in Vol'dun waiting for our group to finish forming when in red text in the middle of my screen I started getting these messages. I know they're not actually destroyed because I can still "/who guild name" it pops up with members(including myself) as online but I can't access it in the communities tab.

Relogging has not fixed this yet.

EDIT: Somebody tag whoever the new Araxom is!

Double EDIT: A community that I created that is using battletags only is still up and active but all my wow character ones are gone.

Quad EDIT: You can change your Message of the Day by typing "/guildroster" and it will bring up the old interface
