‪I recently purchased a gaming laptop. Needless to say I cried when I played WoW on Ultra Settings at 100fps. I have been playing #WorldOfWarcraft for several years on Setting 1 with 30fps, 20fps in raids... I have now fell in love with the game again.‬

Info For Those With Damaged Server Blades...

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 04:50 PM PST

I also received a damaged server blade, with missing pieces. I spoke to a GM through Live Chat and got a little bit of information. I thought the transcript might be helpful to others if they're not sure what to do or haven't been able to get in contact with Blizzard. (Customer Service hung up on me when I called.) Names hidden for privacy of myself and the GM.

TLDR; If your blade is damaged or missing pieces, Blizzard is requesting you submit an RMA (return request) through the OLD gear store, not new; you will be contacted via email when they figure out what they're going to do.

Edit: Small Update: I got an email requesting I take photos of the damage and send them to a specific address after submitting the RMA, and that Blizzard are investigating replacement possibilities, if it isn't possible they will refund in full.

Knowing full well you'll have to fight people who can summon powerful demons, a blizzard, summon powers from the void, etc... and your first thought is, "yeah, I should train to punch really hard."

    Hunter Pets in Shadowlands

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 11:11 PM PST

I've always been a Hunter collector since I started maining one in Wrath of the Lich King. I always thought camping and waiting for your favorite badass beast was really great class fantasy. I still yearn for Loque'nahak, years and years after Wrath of the Lich King's release.

However, with so many badass pet designs coming out every expansion, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep your favorite ones. Stable's have remained very small in size over many expansions, and with patches giving us more and more badass pet models/remodels, it's becoming increasingly hard to keep and collect all of your favorite ones.

With Hati's introduction in Legion, and the questline for Essence Swapper, It was possible to have a Hunter pet that could essentially become any pet. Want 2 Loque'nahaks? You do it brother. Want 2 Cranes? Why? I mean you can I guess.

After Legion, Hati was gone for a couple months, but was readded after a massive amount of Hunter's said how much they missed that darn wolf.

Anyway, I figured since Hati is now obtainable and will probably be for good, I thought of a system that would make a fair amount of Hunter's happy. Pet Transmogrification, almost.

Once you tame a pet,you deposit it into a Stable, and you can permanently transmogrify Hati into that pet, and keep it's abilities/specialization. I think this would help a lot of Hunters' current problems with how pets work currently, and would be a great way to utilize those pets sitting in your Stable who are currently nothing more than trophies you don't want to get rid of.

Plus I just want more Hati. Please and thank you.

a question from a new player.

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 12:41 AM PST

    hi all,

so i have only just recently gotten into World of Warcraft and oh boy am I loving it! however, I am rather confused on how exactly i should approach my WoW experience.

long story short, i had a bit of a series of unfortunate events, creating my first character as an Alliance Hunter; however, only realising i was on the Horde realm by the time I got to level 40. so i ditched that, and decided to play a Death Knight.

so far, i'm loving playing as a DK - but as i said, i'm unsure how to approach WoW. many people i've spoken to, tell me to "skip expansions", spamming dungeons and raids until i am on the same level as most of the rest of the population. others tell me since this is my first time, i should play through it all.

the way i see it, getting into the game so late leaves A LOT of content missed, that content requiring A LOT of time to get through. ultimately, i just want to enjoy this game with others, playing as a strong DK and not constantly feeling like i'm playing catch up with the rest of the WoW population.

so what should i do? rush and catch up? or play through all DLC's starting from WotLK?

    thanks guys!

    Heirlooms question

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 10:04 PM PST

Been playing since Vanilla on and off but never really into end game content.

I'm seeing recent comments about the importance of getting your heirlooms leveled and I want to know: what are they? Why do I need them? Where/how do I get them and, finally, how to upgrade? Trying to get more deeply into the game. Thanks in advance!

Edit: have a guild but nobody talks to anyone. Been like that since 2005 or so.
