I’ve Played WoW for half my life, and it’s been my main reason of happiness over the years.

    Posted: 24 Feb 2020 10:42 PM PST

I know it's weird to say, but it's true. I can't really remember a time before I did play WoW, and in my darkest moments it was people I met on the game who helped me, and not the people I knew IRL.

I played this game even in its worst patches, just to talk to people. I've fallen off lately when it comes to my mental state, thinking out a lot of things i shouldn't. and i just have to say thank you to the people who do reach out, who try their best to be positive and help others on the game even when it's so much easier to be toxic. it's the little things that always make me happy, and i'm sure it makes others happy too.

Please don't leave classes unfun for whole patches again.

As shadowlands news comes closer, and BFA is nearing it's end, it's important to reflect on what kind of feedback we want to give blizzard. Mine is this: please don't make classes unfun for multiple patches and delay their fixes. The state of shamans as a whole, and particularly enhancement, should've never taken two patch cycles to make 2 of the 3 specs fun to play. Shadow priests have largely uninteresting azerite traits and the nerf to insanity drain was the bare minimum to save it.

I want to see a blizzard after shadowlands that listens to it's players. Each spec has community leaders that put in the time and effort to figure out every nook and cranny a spec can thrive in. I want blizzard cooperating with these leaders and take feedback on what they think each spec deserves to be it's best.

In Legion they made it so we start with higher secondary stats, but in BFA they undid that change. I think it was one of the best parts of Legion. Can we please get it back for Shadowlands?

N'lyeth is the best herbalism/mining tool added in BFA

    Posted: 24 Feb 2020 09:17 PM PST

Ever been annoyed at all the enemies that attack you when gathering? Ever been bothered by enemies surrounding you as you attempt to click a herb, causing you to misclick and dismount? Ever wished you could just loot items, without any of that pesky combat? Well, now there's a solution - Become a servant of N'Zoth!

For those who haven't had the joy of experiencing it, N'lyeth, Sliver of N'Zoth is a toy added in 8.3. It's a reward for killing 10 players of your own faction without dying as an assassin quest. The use effect of N'lyeth sets your faction to Shath'yar, making you hostile to all players, your faction included, but neutral to all NPCs. All of them. Every random mob, your own faction guards, and even enemy towns all become neutral and non-aggressive. With this one simple trick of betraying your faction (for one hour, or until you remove the buff or die), you can herb or mine in complete peace!

Horrific Visions Updates Coming with Weekly Maintenance

    Posted: 24 Feb 2020 03:10 PM PST

    https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/horrific-visions-updates-coming-with-weekly-maintenance/449849

    UPDATED 2:45 p.m. PST Monday, February 24

We're working on a set of hotfixes to the game that should streamline upgrading your Legendary cloak via Horrific Visions.

We now have some specifics to outline. Once again, these changes will come into effect with scheduled weekly maintenance:

    Coalescing Visions

Visions of N'Zoth Daily Quests now reward 50% more Coalescing Visions.

The main N'Zoth Threat now rewards 2500 Coalescing Visions (in addition to a Vessel of Horrific Visions).

Lesser Threats now reward 6500 Coalescing Visions.

    Quests to Increase Cloak Rank

For Rank 13, the Quest now requires 4 Torn Pages (was 6).

For Rank 14, the Quest now requires 6 Torn Pages (was 12).

For Rank 15, the Quest now requires 8 Torn Pages (was 18).

This is an update to an earlier post:

    Posted previously–

Coalescing Visions now drop in higher numbers from Assaults and Daily Quests.

The Unique(5) inventory cap on Vessel of Horrific Visions has been removed, allowing you to carry as many Vessels as you like.

Up to 4 Torn Pages of "Fear and Flesh" quest items can now drop in Horrific Visions from objectives on the rank 7-11 Legendary cloak upgrade quests (was a max of 2).

You'll need to clear more than two sides areas in one run to get more than two pages. The rank 13-15 quests will still drop a max of 2 pages, only from Lost Area objectives.

These updates will go into effect with weekly maintenance (Tuesday, February 25 in this region).

This marks a 750% total increase in Coalescing Vision rewards from dailies since patch launch values.

Patch 8.3 Hotfixes for February 24th - Magister Umbric Nerf, Explosive Orb Tab Target, Class Changes

Corrupted item drop rate needs to be increased by 10x, maybe even more.

    Posted: 24 Feb 2020 01:07 PM PST

I feel like I'm in the minority when I say corruption, at it's core, is a very intriguing system. I want to like it! However, it has very limited accessibility, making the system fall nearly flat on it's face.

For a system like corruption to work, you need to have corrupted items dropping left and right. It is REALLY hard to enjoy this system when you are left with such a small test sample.

I want to get corruptions and mess around with them. I want to have crazy builds whether it's stacking mastery procs or massive uncontrollable damage while making me a glass cannon. Maybe I'm feeling crazy and want to stack leech?

But I am not getting any corrupted drops (outside of WQ blues).

Corruption isn't just meant to be a power creep. A system like titanforging/corruption was put in place to incentivize people to run content they "out item level". Whether it was raids they outgeared or lower level keystones, having the potential of a titanforge or legendary drop made doing the lower level content more tolerable. Whether you agree with this system or not is another discussion. Right now, the extremely low drop rate of corrupted items isn't doing much incentivizing. I would love to spam Junkyard and Workshop to potentially get random corruptions on my if/then rings. But that chance is SO low that it just isn't worth the time.

I say increase the drop rate by 10x because, outside of WQs, I have literally only gotten ONE corrupted item to drop outside of my weekly cache.

I've cleared over 50 keystones since season 4 launch.

    I've cleared Nyalotha every week.

And I have only gotten one crappy corruption. Maybe 10x isn't enough? It isn't a crazy thought to say I should be getting at least 1 corrupted piece a raid run, and 1 corrupted piece every 3-5 keystone runs. And if it's a bad corruption I don't like, I can cleanse it! No harm done.

Blizz, open them flood gates and start corrupting everything already!

My experience with corrupted items in detail from 200 12-17 TIMED runs as a fury warrior

    Posted: 24 Feb 2020 06:30 PM PST

So my warrior just got keymaster last night, after a long grueling pugging epidemic in this community it happened. Very happy, since i think pugging in todays age is probably the most toxic thing in the history of this video game but thats besides the point lets continue

Well I tallied up my total runs and wanted to see my total corrupted items gained and seen and I thought I would share this information

    200 runs

    100 10-14 ALL timed.

    100 +15-+17. Timed 31

Out of the 100 10-14, I saw a total of 10 corrupted items.

None of these had a tier 3 stars/app/void ritual, currently the biggest game changers (colossal game changers likeits not even close)

out of the 100 15-17s. I did see 20 corrupted items.

Out of the 20 I saw Tier 3 starsx3(oh yeah btw this was on a COD socketed 465 jesus christ that death knight made the lottery that day) , Tier 3 appx2 (oh yeah lucky boys), tier 3 vr x4 (lucky boys!)

These were the big ones out of ALL those runs and finally YEAH I DIDNT GET ONE SINGLE ONE LOL

At this point I was so mad, I went and blew 1.7m gold on Tier 3 app to finally FINALLY get my FIRST corrupted piece that wasnt in my weekly chest.... WHAT A JOKE?

It almost feels apparent that blizzard wants us to buy wow tokens to buy items because the corruption rate is HORRIFIC and the power of corruption is DISGUSTING. I went from averaging 55k dps on Heroic nzoth as fury to 72k like its NOTHING with tier 3 app. Imagine if I had stars lol.

My point is, I think its safe to say, blizzard knows what they are doing. Its making them $$$$

Imagine not being able to consistently time 15s, and dont rng weekly? you can completely forget about EVER seeing corrupted items, unless of course you pay blizzard a wopping sum of 300-400 dollars (covering tokens for gp to buy boes with t3 stars/app)

Disgusted with blizzard, I grew up on TBC and WOTLK and this is NOTHING compared to those games AT ALL
