    My wife, a new player, got kicked from her first dungeon

    The tank pulled a bunch of mobs and she died. Then because her overall damage was only 80k in comparison to the number one being 400k, they booted her for "afk".

    Come on, community. This was a NORMAL dungeon. Be nice to people. There is no reason, at all, to act like this. Stop optimizing the fun out of the game.

    Hello all! A Reddit Dystopia's Friendship Dragon campaign continues tomorrow (August 8) with another 12 hour marathon in an effort to help as many players as possible get their Uncorrupted Voidwing mounts 100% free of charge. Additionally, we are once again supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and their fight against childhood cancer.

    For those unfamiliar, ARD is an open and inclusive community and welcomes players of all types and skill levels. We started as a single Reddit post consisting of like minded people who wanted to raid in an environment that was free from toxicity, and since then it has grown to the point where ARD is home to multiple Heroic and Mythic Raiding teams running all throughout the week and weekend at various levels of progression and with varying schedules. Additionally, ARD hosts a Community Normal Nyalotha raid every Sunday that welcomes alts and those who are interested in raiding but don't know the fights. Our raid leaders will explain the fights beforehand, no previous experience required.

    Friendship Dragon? What is that?

    For those new to the Friendship Mount Initiative, it started in Warlords of Draenor with Friendship Moose, continued in Legion with Friendship Birb, and now is back in Battle for Azeroth with Friendship Dragon. The goal of the initiative is pretty simple, to help as many members of the wow community get their end of expansion Ahead of the Curve mounts as possible! A Reddit Dystopia participated in this campaign in Legion and, with the help of our community, we were able to help 2,047 players get their Violet Spellwing mounts and we raised over $5,646 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and their fight against childhood cancer. We are very excited to take part in this initiative once again and will attempt to go above and beyond our legion end result.

    So far, as part of this campaign, we have helped 1,287 players get their Uncorrupted Voidwing mounts and raised $11,180 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

    A Reddit Dystopia will be starting their Friendship Dragon 12 Hour Marathon tomorrow (August 8th) from 10am - 10pm EDT (Eastern US). View in your timezone

    Cant make it tomorrow? We will return to our regularly scheduled runs next Saturday (August 15th) 3-6pm EDT (Eastern US)

    Alright, so how do I get in on this?

    To get your mount you just have to join us on Discord (https://discord.gg/CzdNJzc) and follow the instructions listed in the #aotc-read-first channel. Groups will be chosen by Lottery using our favorite Corgi Bot, Elroy. The lottery will open 1 hour before the runs start and you must be present to win. Additionally, make sure you opt into the Friendship Dragon roles in #get-roles to receive notifications about future events/runs.

    Are there any requirements/pre-requisites?

    To be eligible, you must meet the following, very simple requirements:

    - Must have a Max Level Horde character on any US/NA Realm (Any iLvl is fine)

    - Must have your Legendary Cloak unlocked and equipped (Any level is fne)

    - You must not already have the Uncorrupted Voidwing mount (Elroy will know if you do)

    US Horde? cries in EU/Alliance ....

    A Reddit Dystopia is only able to do these runs for US-Horde, but there are other communities doing Friendship Dragon runs as well.For EU Horde we recommend Ready, Set, Dragon (https://discord.gg/XjpjCh9). Additionally Perky Pugs does a lot of these runs for Horde and Alliance (http://perkypugs.com)
