Today's a very good day to backup your addon settings.

    Posted: 15 Sep 2020 10:44 PM PDT

There's always a chance that the pre-patch updates, and soon the launch, will break your UI. It's a good idea to go ahead an make a backup of all your settings now.

Go to your Program Files (x86) > World of Warcraft > retail

Copy your WTF folder and your Interface folder as well and put them some place safe. Whenever your settings are reset paste the WTF backup back into your retail folder to copy your old settings.

Take two minutes to back up your WTF folder now or risk spending hours setting up your UI again later.

5 years ago, the mods of r/PetBattles locked the subreddit and quit reddit. I recently took over and reopened the sub, so there can be a dedicated WoW Pet Battling community again. Come check us out if you’re into pet battling!

This is a cringe-worthy I hate you moment I had today

So this person joins our guild yesterday. Comes off green as can be. Super polite, super inquisitive, asking all the questions. The guild leader and I get in to a conversation on /g about mounts and he chimes in with "I want a new mount:(" So, I had nothing else to do and said "Sure man! Wanna come for Elegon? It's Tuesday! I've been doing Elegon for years. I had no aspirations for him at all, it was just a polite gesture. This mother fucker got it. First time, no clue how lucky he is. So we all of course congratulated him. And now I'm six sheets to the wind in jealousy. Congrats dude.

Please let us level through Suramar from level 10

    Posted: 15 Sep 2020 06:56 PM PDT

I know that this is a low priority issue compared to others, but it also seems like it's a much easier fix.

I, like many others, absolutely love the Suramar zone and story and I was personally very much looking forward to leveling in the zone when the Shadowlands leveling system was announced.

Unfortunately, currently on the PTR and beta the zone is scaled to start at 45, leaving 5 levels in which to experience the zone. I know that Blizzard are trying to create a more cohesive leveling experience, but as far as I can tell there is almost nothing in Suramar that requires prior experience from the other zones' storylines, especially before the questlines that were added in content patches.

Keeping Suramar at 45 essentially creates the exact same problem this whole system was trying to solve. You start a cool story that you start to get invested in, and then 5 levels later you're told it's time to go somewhere else. It seems so counter to what they're tying to achieve and it is very disappointing to me.
