    I think BFA destroyed me

    I'm not trying to be a downer or anything, but I honestly think BFA has destroyed my WoW hype.

    In Legion, I could play for hours.

    But now, i can't even play for 30 minutes.

    It's not burnout or anything, just the gameplay. It's filled with dailies and over repetitive content with no actual rewards. Not to mention the boredom of endlessly grinding to make your class good.And BFA non gamewise just sucked. The lore sucked, it had some interesting parts but most of the time, it was just so draining. There was nothing to be excited about

    I'm hoping shadowlands will be better but skeptical on the gameplay standpoint

    Rextroy found a "fix" to the PvP socket issue. Get a 10% damage increase by resocketing your gear every match. lol

    Battlegrounds while leveling is more fun than battlegrounds at 120

    I've been leveling my priest by just playing battlegrounds. I'm a healer, and the bg are so much more fun because it is basically gear irrelevant. Every now and then you get a twink (less show up when you get past level 29) but for the most part it's just characters whose stats are all increased automatically because our gear is too crappy (likely do to the double XP which is awesome). I just find these so much more enjoyable. Equal fights, less about who has higher level gear and just more raw class vs class team fights.

    Anyone else find the same? That bg are more fun while leveling than when at 120?

    To give an example, Beastlord Darmac in BRF drops a polearm that currently vendors for 75-78g depending on difficulty, however, thanks to the level squish on the beta it's now gone down to 33g and it doesn't stop there, they've nerfed the sell price significantly across the board for all old raids making life much harder for people who don't play the AH 24/7 or multi-box 10 characters.

    I've been playing a slow-burn, lore-heavy run with a good friend of mine who played way back in the day during BC and never again since. We're currently doing Wrath, and are working our way through the middle of Dragonblight. Tonight, we did the Obsidian Dragonshrine.

    I was explaining who Neltharion was for them(the subzone was called the Maw of Neltharion or something), comparing him to the other aspects we'd seen before(Malygos, Ysera, Alexstraza and, most recently, Nozdormu). So as we run through the doorway into the lava mountain, they go, "oh, so he's the big scary dragon then!"

    All I could say was "yes :)" and screenshot that comment for later retrieval, because they have no idea what's coming up in the next expansion! It's so weird to me that somebody can play and not know all about the big scary dragon, aka Deathwing, but I breezed them through the 1-60 zones quickly and never went into how the cataclysm happened. I can't wait.
