So I found out today you can use the Eternal Traveler's Hearthstone mid-air and spent the past few hours trying to time my hearthstone to go off right before I hit the ground

Creating a community for anxious/‘chill’/casual players that still want to try harder content?

    Posted: 12 Dec 2020 03:24 PM PST

Edit: Wow, I wasn't expecting this to resonate with so many people! I'll go ahead and make a Discord/in-game group and update the post when I think it's good to go! I'm personally on Alliance EU, but can cater the Discord server for other regions and Horde if that's favourable. Basically, bare with me! :)

Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but I'm trying to gage if there's any interest for a community of this sort!

I've noticed a lot of people mentioning they're too anxious or nervous to do PUGs because they don't feel confident enough, don't want to get yelled at, or just don't appreciate the pressure.

There was also a post the other day about 'chill runs' in Mythic LFG and it was met with a lot of positivity. Sometimes, people are just looking for a casual, relaxed experience where they don't have to worry too much!

At its core, it would be a space for likeminded individuals who want to do dungeons/raids/Torghast, but also maybe A: feel more comfortable knowing people had their back; B: would like to help newer/more anxious players; C: are looking for a more casual community; or D: are generally kind and patient all round! And hey, maybe make some friends along the way!

Again, not sure if this is the best place to test the waters and see if anyone's interested, but I'd love to know if anyone is before I go full steam ahead and create it :) Or if one like this already exists, I'd love to know so I can start recommending it to people!

The torments in Torghast that spawn hounds or the Assassin suck.

    Posted: 12 Dec 2020 07:48 PM PST

They do a lot of damage and have a lot of health. As a caster I get my ass torn apart by the mobs in higher floors and when I sit down to eat between pulls, the hounds or Assassin spawn forcing me to deal with them while having low health and/or no CDs. They slow down the runs so much.

Hopefully Blizzard reworks them to maybe only proc 1-2 times per floor. I did a run just now and had the hounds spawned 3 times in less than 2 minutes. It's a super frustrating and annoying torment to deal with.

Your full Great Vault progress should be visible in the UI.

    Posted: 12 Dec 2020 10:52 AM PST

When we just had the Mythic and PvP chest, both were visible in their respective UI's and clearly showed the item level you would obtain.

Now, we have raids, pvp, mythics with 3 tiers each. We can see the 1/3 etc completion on the UI - but it would be better if we could somehow just open the vault UI anywhere to see specific progress, ilvls, and how close you are to the next reward.

    The Maw sucks

    Posted: 12 Dec 2020 05:35 PM PST

I guess from a lore perspective it makes sense, but from a gameplay perspective it's just fucking atrocious. It's not fun, it's extremely repetitive, and the moment I finish out the rep to get all the items/achievements finished I have 0 intention of ever returning. A socket isn't worth drudging through that place.

Trivia: At :59 to :00, every hour, the Orgrimmar drums beat a number of times equal to the hour.

    Posted: 12 Dec 2020 10:02 PM PST

Just had the drums beat 7 times at 7:00 server time.

    I should go to sleep.
