    Tis the season for giveaways!

    In this post we'll round up the currently approved giveaways as several are on the go at once and we just can't sticky them all at once.

    (NA/EU) Gallywix Community Christmas Giveaway (Brutosaur, M+, Raids, Leveling & More!): The Gallywix boosting community are operating 3 separate giveaways including including a TCG mount and a Brutosaur on top of daily prizes. Some giveaways are daily via their discord, some are via posting in the thread, check it out for all the details.

    Holiday Season Giveaways | The Pro Boosting Community: The Pro Boosting community are doing doing giveaways via their Discord, including M+ carries, raid clears and mounts.

    Pieces Christmas Giveaway Multiple giveaways done by top guild Pieces in the EU, including a full Mythic EP carry with loot, a Jaina Mount and a giveaway to be announced on Christmas.

    Complexity Limit X Perky Pugs X Extra Life FREE Heroic Azshara Carries for Charity!: Complexity Limit are doing AOTC carries via twitch streams as well as raising money for the Extra Life Charity on December 13th and 14th. The carries are done, as well as some of the giveaways, but they do have more Gamestop Giftcard Giveaways to do via their Twitter and you can still donate to Extra Life via the links in the thread.

    If Blizzard made the Tower of the Damned solo content challenging but also lucrative it would me make me the happiest I've been in the 10+ years that I've been playing.

    One of my biggest complaints with the game is that no matter how good you are as an individual player, you never really get much for it. Another issue that I have is that some of the best ways to make money solo is mindless gathering or other relatively unfun activities.

    My suggestion is that the higher levels of The Tower reward tradeable crafting mats that are either rare to find outside the tower or only drop from the tower.

    Pros

    • The most skilled players are rewarded.

    • Less skilled players have something to strive for.

    • A new alternative to gold making

    • Beats the hell out of that goofy scrap machine when it comes to obtaining crafting mats

    Cons

    • People will complain when they find out they're not as good as they think they are.

    What are your thoughts on the matter?

    Imagine if this was the model for the Male Mag'har. Imo, this would have been perfect and I would have been ecstatic to play one. Fine, we got what we got. But can we have this race playable in addition to what we already have?

    Obviously this would be a total outrage among the playerbase if they themed an entire expansion around it, but could be fun as a novelty server imo. Much more questing flexibility, visit any city without being harassed, massive economy, no need for LFG. Perhaps guilds could pvp against one another in the world, or maybe even the chaos of FFA world PvP. Main issue is a lot of quests would make zero sense.

    Yes, and I say this as an alliance player. I have not had so much fun leveling in ages, since they nerfed the experience you got from regular battlegrounds. I have lots of fun even though alliance lose 90% of the time :)

    I really hope they keep this around after the birthday event ends, and not point us to classic :(

    What if dual wield classes got their weapons in a set, like the legion artifacts?

    So, in Legion the artifacts came as a set of 2handers for dual wield weapons. Imo this was one of the best implementations of legion that I was upset to lose in BFA. It made it much easier for me to swap from unholy to frost as a dk,without having to grind for 2 weapons. What if instead of a boss dropping a single 1hander, it dropped a set. This could also apply to shields for warriors, paladins,and shamans where the shield comes with a 1hander as a set. With the appropriate stats. I'm sure there's some downsides to this that I'm not seeing right now, but right now this seems like a good idea to me.

    Edit: adding some more ideas to this.

    If you have only a shield, equipped, it acts like a set and adds a sword in your main hand. If you have only a sword equipped it adds another to the off hand. But however if you have a sword AND another shield equipped, it acts how the system currently does and just takes both of those into account, disabling their set nature.

    My brain and heart are totally fucked haha. I figured, "ok ok everyone says wow is this amazing game, although it looks old and simple. I guess I'll play free just to say I've played it and go back to being a hypocrite playing old school runescape."

    So I start up and notice how many races there are. And so many you can't be anywhere else. A fucking minotaur? a fucking zombie? HOLY JESUS CHRIST A MUTHERFUCKING PANDA!! Ahh shit now I gotta make a bunch of characters. So now I have this old man panda monk, Yaang, and I start. Pretty simple. I played a game like this on mobile. Order and chaos. Must be sort of a clone. But it does no justice for the music and atmosphere. It was perfect for my taste. I love eastern aesthetic and I felt like I was in fucking kung fu panda. The voice acting was a nice little touch as well. There sweet just so many tiny things I loved. How sit for my race/class idk was meditating, the pools that changed you into animals, the cart you can ride on. And the fact that you live on a fucking turtle is majestic as hell. It just drew me in. The combat was simple as I thought, but only because it was the first to do it I've heard. Being able to change your sub class any time was awesome because I'm terrible with decisions. I then made an orc and a zombie. Then a dwarf. God dammit the lore, the music, the world, it's so damn inviting I hate it. Nice touch making classes able to have varried weapons. I love rogue, but I hate having daggers. Small I know, but it's the small things that count.

    So I've fucked myself because I'm now going to have to start doing grub hub or some shit to see if I can get enough to pay for a sub because I want more of this world. I need it.
