    Revisiting Arathi, I never noticed..............

Reminder that Blood Elves and Void Elves should get war paint options in Shadowlands. Virtually every race is getting them, yet in Warcraft II only High Elves had them.

Flew to Howling Fjord for whatever reason and happened to look back towards Dragonblight. Thought this was a beautiful scene and thought it was insane how well you can still see Icecrown from two-three zones away. #nofilter

Really enjoying LFR N'Zoth. Especially the phase where you have been waiting for new players to join for 30 minutes.

What about Reskins of Classes abilities?

    Posted: 05 Jul 2020 01:15 AM PDT

    Hey guys,

I just wanted your opinions on doing reskin for classes as an achievement or challenge reward or even as payed content.

The idea would be to keep all the classes mechanics of a spec, but just change animations, spells effects and items. For example a Dark Ranger theme could be a Hunter with shadowy arrows, undead pet, and shadow traps, but would still be a full Hunter as of mechanics, numbers and rotation. Same for a Tidecaller from Kul Tiras, with for example a spammable water spell instead of lightning bolt.

Of course it would be perfect at delivering a certain fantasy experience, but it could still be a good way to deliver new things without balancing issues or developing new classes . And it could be a nice reward too.

Or it's a trash idea, don't know. What are your thoughts?

Timewalking is overtuned for tanks and healers

    Posted: 04 Jul 2020 10:37 PM PDT

I leveled several characters through the last timewalking weeks and realized that when I play a DPS it's a total cakewalk and healing or tanking is extremely stressful. Often times as a healer I realized even if I'm doing everything right it's quite literally impossible to keep someone up in certain parts, and tanks get chunked from 100% to half or less HP in one hit VERY often.

It just doesn't feel like we have the healing output to keep up, even as a monk healer with proper gear, in a normal pull, with statue down and channeling mist, and enveloping mist up (increases healing % to target) and SPAMMING expensive heal on the tank it would sometimes not be enough to handle a normal pull. Not even an overpull or a double pack pull or anything.

On the contrary, some parts are incredibly easy and require almost no healing, it's an absolute mess. No wonder there's always a bonus for queuing as heals or tank. DPS has almost no responsibility during all this and it's a walk in the park.

Some healers are more affected than others, and DK tanks are MUCH more affected by this, they're basically paper and impossible to keep alive. I realize there's a lot of player skill level involved but I shouldn't be healing a +15 mythic easier than a normal timewalking.

It's entirely too stressful for tanks/healers and it's overtuned. I'm witnessing this over and over leveling characters to 120.

    Class Customization

    Posted: 04 Jul 2020 09:00 PM PDT

I mainly play my Death Knight, and as such, have thought of different cool ideas that I wish were implemented. Although they mostly began as DK ideas, I thought that many of them could be dispersed into other classes as well. What I am talking about is an expanded class customization. One of the inspirations of this was the video game Fable, and the different cosmetic things that occurred depending on how you played your character. I think most would agree that more customization is better, but how cool would it be if each class had their own set of options as far as class identification through cosmetic customization to their core character. I have thrown together a few quick examples but would love to hear more from you guys.

Death Knight: Seeing as we already have custom hair and skin color, some additional faces/options would be great. Maybe various stages of rot (ie. teeth showing through gums, gaunt cheeks, sunken in eyes), different eye colors and runic tattoos (as seen in Acherus NPCs), and other corpse related cosmetic options.

Warlock: Fel-related cosmetic options, possibly eye colors/glows, horns, or other demonic inspired things.

Priest/Paladin: Blue or other Holy Light eye glow, aura emanating from skin. For shadow priests maybe similar yet different void related options to Warlock.

    Warrior: Scars, muscle definition.

Rogue: "Gang" / Affiliation tattoos. Gold/Silver teeth.

    Hunter: Camouflage paint, animal decorations/jewelry.

Shaman: Elemental related options such as element based eye glow, tattoos, small effects such as early development earthen skin, char on skin, dripping water from fingertips, gusts of wind sweeping through hair continuously.

Mage: Eyeglows based upon specialization. Charred skin, frozen/frost bitten skin, arcane and/or runic tattoos and auras.

Monk: Chi based options such as tattoos and auras. Gun blossoms on face for brewing related monks.

Druid: Early stages of transformation into various forms, such as animal eyes (vertical pupils), fangs, claws, bark growing on skin. Possibly even Emerald Dream/Nightmare related cosmetic options.

Demon Hunter: Already has some cosmetic options, maybe just expand upon them. Additional horn options, other demonic influenced appearances.
