• I love the WoW lore but to be honest it's so, so badly presented. It's too disjointed and hard to access. If you go by just what's in-game, you'll be confused and you won't even be able to get half of the actual lore.

I love the WoW lore but to be honest it's so, so badly presented. It's too disjointed and hard to access. Posted: 04 Sep 2020 05:58 AM PDT While the lore itself is wonderful, it's availability to the average player is very poor. You know what would be ideal? If I could log into the game and have most of the WoW lore accessible to me in one way or another. Not only are parts of the lore simply gone (since Azeroth was revamped in Cataclysm), but there's even a lot of lore outside the game. Books, previous installments of the Warcraft franchise etc... And another thing, Blizzard making WoW books is perfectly fine. Expanding the universe that way is fine, but there should be at least a small summary of what's relevant to the lore from those books in the actual game. There should at least be a dedicated lore tab in-game. Have it summarize important parts of the lore, make it have info on all the characters in the lore. Make it well organized, have a good timeline etc... That would be a wonderful tool for those who love the lore and for casuals too. Posted: 04 Sep 2020 08:15 AM PDT If you think Soundless and Rotfeaster are hard to farm now, imagine what it'll be like at level 60 when it could be soloed in mere seconds. Expect fewer groups forming, more time spent camping and a much greater likelihood of missing tags. Only the power of the Maw can turn Worgen undead and create Valkyr Posted: 04 Sep 2020 10:41 PM PDT During Silverpine Forest quests multiple humans willingly become Worgens so that Sylvanas wouldn't be able to rise them. However Arthas was capable of creating Worgen Death Knights. It was symply assumed that this was just because the Lich King was the most powerful necromancer. Only he was capable of creating Third Generation Death Knights and even his own Valkyr. Now it's explained that the Lich King is in fact fundamentally different from common necromancers as he wilds the power of the Maw. Zombie invasion test occured, it was hilariously bad *For the ghouls* Posted: 04 Sep 2020 08:45 AM PDT Literally, ghouls spawned, and got nuked down in 3seconds or less. Couldn't even do anything against players. They're so fragile you can 4 shot them, you're actually encouraged NOT to be a zombie now because you will be utterally obliterated by anyone in a 5 mile radius. ​ "But if I get away from the players, I can go and infect people!" Maybe 1-2 npcs, but then the stormwind guards will chunk your HP to no tomorrow. *These aren't the argent guards either, just regular stormwind guards.* ​ Not to mention people confused why they couldn't attack ghouls/ghouls can't attack people because you need to flag yourself to even do anything...*Mind you, this is part of a daily quest as well.* Oh and player ghouls don't give credit to it. ​ Sigh...just frustrated man. submitted by /u/Siggythenomad [link] [comments]

Druid Travel/Moonkin Forms Customization Posted: 04 Sep 2020 11:22 AM PDT As we're finally getting the option to choose our travel form at creation/barber screen, maybe it is time we get to pick colors (for everyone except Kultirans, they actually have different colors for Travel and Moonkin, but not the Flying form). It's just weird that we got different colors for cat, bear and even aqua form (zandalari) but not the actual Travel or Flying form. It's so sick for me to pick black or green skin for Zandalari so i have it on my troll, bear, cat and even aqua form, but still remain blue as raptor and pterodactyl (or have all black appearances on my worgen but remain white as a deer). Especially that these forms dont have any special artifact apperance. And its weird as well that we got raptor and not ravasaur model for Zandalari Druids as their Loa (Gonk) is the actual Ravasaur. And that we have these beautiful ravasaur models. It would be so easy to just add them like this, without any changes (as that simple old cheetah form still there), and people will still love it to death. I understand that its probably because these have been rushed out with release, but as we're on the customisation train right now with Shadowlands, maybe it's time to fix and add some things?
