    Twas the night before Pre-patch and all through the server,

    Not a minion of N'zoth was spared from a quick murder.

    ​

    Completing their grinding and weekly commitments,

    ready to move onto new resentments.

    ​

    The war was over, or so they thought,

    for soon the Scourge would spread their rot.

    ​

    "Prepare for Pre-Patch" it said repeatedly,

    yet nobody was truly ready, Illidan whispered weakly.

    ​

    "Press F for Ursoc!" the masses repeated,

    the shadowlands have need, and so his life force depleted.

    ​

    The threads were abuzz with speculation and guesses,

    nobody knew what power Sylvanas truly possesses.

    ​

    "Balance PvP!", "Balance Classes", "Balance it all!"

    "Else our interest, and passion will continue to fall!"

    ​

    I tried out new characters, Ctime, and more,

    for level squish was upon us, new skills galore.

    ​

    Goodbye to corruption, for anima calls,

    time to leave behind visions, for Torghast's great halls.

    'Twas the night before prepatch and all through the night,

    Not a currency was stirring, not even Azerite.

    We sorted our bags and deleted some gear

    In hopes that the Shadowlands would soon be near.

    And what to our wondering eyes would appear,

    All the corruption and stats would be gone from our gear.

    "The game's getting better!" we quickly proclaimed,

    Not realizing they still need to balance the game.

    Some farming achieves, pets, mounts and toys,

    Even some gold for a last-minute long boi.

    "We're getting a new barber!" one player said,

    As he brainstormed a new haircut for his characters head

    Another player asked, "but what did it cost us?"

    "Probably a raid tier" said Ion Hazzikostas.

    Gladiators ignored this, and queued arenas with the bros,

    While Cutting Edge players pushed Raider.io.

    Magni snorted more Azerite "What about the woons!?"

    "We're getting Covenants and Conduits you stupid old fool!"

    As we /wave to corruption and look forward to new fights,

    Merry prepatch to all, and to all a good night!

    I keep wanting to interact with Void Elves but they don't seem to know that they have to switch languages for me to understand them. And when some of them do, they are surprised it works!

    Just a little advice, unless you want to face the lag of 6k players all inside the same small room, keep away from the Stormwind and Orgrimmar barbershops if you plan to park your character there before prepatch.

    • Dalaran, Northrend

    Call me sentimental, but the way we've leveled for the last 15 years is gonna be gone for good tomorrow (excepting the scaling changes in 7.3). Just feels like it deserves a send-off, y'know? Pretty big change that needs to happen, but big nonetheless.

    Don’t Forget to Backup your WTF files before prepatch tomorrow (10/13)

    Hey everyone, just a friendly reminder to remember to backup your WTF files from WoW so you don't lose all of your addons and TRP data after prepatch launches!

    Go to your World of Warcraft folder, _retail, and make a copy of your entire WTF folder and save it in a safe place, just in case!

    I would hate to see any of you lovely people lose your addons or TRPs that you've worked so hard on creating!

    Flawed as it was; BFA is the expansion where me and my friends formed our own mythic raiding guild that has grown and is doing well. I grinded AP, essences before the account wide system was put in place (including 4x BotE) as well as full sockets on 5 toons and bis corruption on 7. I played a lot. More than i should have (probably). There were a lot of times where i wanted to scream at the monitor both in anger and in joy.

    People like to portray things, like expansions, completely black and white, but that's obviously not the case. Wow, like many other things in life, will feed whatever you come searching for. If you're looking for bad things you will find it, but likewise you can also always find things to enjoy.

    My favorite moment: First kill of mythic Azshara with only one person alive. I don't think I've ever seen a closer kill
