Back when Teldrassil was burned, we were promised justice going into BfA - yet nothing other than a warfront came out of it - Now the writers are removing every reference to Teldrassil and pretending that it never happened while also whitewashing the Horde's and Sylvanas' crimes

I think Blizzard should use their website class layout for the in-game character creator instead of the simplistic new UI we may be getting.

I finally understand the plight of healers

    Posted: 24 Apr 2020 04:37 PM PDT

This week I decided to pull the trigger on leveling a Paladin. I've only ever played Tank/Damage classes but I figured "hey, healer can't be that bad!"

    Narrator: He was wrong.

I'm level 24, enjoying the instant queues that accompany the ability to play as all 3 roles. 30 seconds after pressing enter, I hear that glorious chime. First time queue popped as a healer! Time to heal! I got this.
We load in. Monk tank, could be worse. I prepare my - checks spellbook - ONLY 2 HEALING SPELLS???
I shrug it off. Whatever, I've seen Paladins heal, this should be fine. I got this.

Tank proceeds to pull every enemy in the first hallway in Stockades.
Mild panic sets in, but it can't deter a Chad Paladin like me. I got this.
I'm spamming my only 2 healing spells in a frenzy, watching his health dip precipitously lower and lower.
    But he doesn't die.
I've got him. I got this.
    This is GLORIOUS!!!
I am the saving grace, the GUARDIAN ANGEL, I AM - Oh, I'm out of mana.
    I-I got this?

Oh no, he' s 20% HP and pulling the boss.
    I don't got this.
    uh oh

    Wipes ensue.
    Many. Wipes.
My group is strong. Stubborn. Not a single full reset. We throw ourselves at this sucker again and again. WE GOT THIS.
Finally, mercifully, the boss dies. Victory!

Finally, a blessed pause in the combat. I start to type in chat; "Hey, I only have so much mana, can we-"

Why am I back in Azsuna. What? I check my chat logs.
You have been removed from the dungeon.

This day, I swear my vow. I will never flame a healer ever again.
    And so my watch begins.

Story Time with Chris Metzen: Snow Fight

Got to use one of my favorite Warlock abilities in a dungeon for the first time in years and it made me happy.

    Posted: 24 Apr 2020 08:30 PM PDT

I am super casual. Not competitive in any way in this game, and I rarely do any group content without the group finder. It might be a small thing to everyone else, but I am always excited when I get a chance to use Ritual of Summoning to get frustrated players through annoying terrain.

Well, today in the mechagon workshop I got to help some frustrated newbies who actually died on the conveyer belt. Just teleported them right on past it with the two other party members who made it with me.

Then later in the dungeon the same pair were having trouble passing the alarm bots and I summoned them right past that problem too.

Today is a good day. I just wish I could do that more often.

Why do people always do this?

Why do people always do this?

I resubbed to wow after 18 months away to level a new character in preparation for Shadowlands. I just hit 120 and am only iLvl ~280, doing world quests to catch up with gear. I noticed a very geared 120 hunter killing the same mobs, so I invited him to a group. How many times has this happened to you? Someone writes something snarky, and then immediately ignores you to secure the "last laugh." So many players appear to have a major superiority complex. This has happened to me a lot in the past.

If you log out before the debuff in trueshot lodge runs out as a non hunter class the duration resets and you can pick up hunter quests

Warriors should get their class mounts colors unlocked for any spec

    Posted: 24 Apr 2020 11:55 PM PDT

For some classes it makes sense like Mage or DK having mounts that go with the visual aesthetic of the different specs like the green dragon for unholy, etc. But it doesn't make sense for warriors at all. I can only use the badass red color if i'm playing arms. Really? And prot is stuck with purple? A bunch of the other classes can use any of their mounts colors; warlocks, rogues, hunter, and paladin. Anyone else think so?
